Which rooms can dogs stay in at the hotel?
Loch View Lodge Rooms and Woodland Lodge Rooms Only. Charge of £30.00 per night applies. Dogs are not permitted in any area of the main hotel building. Dog Kennels are also available.More >
Which rooms have baths?
There are 14 rooms with baths – 3 Castle Signature Rooms, 2 Castle Signature View Rooms, 4 Loch View Lodge Rooms, 4 Woodland Lodge Rooms and the Penthouse Suite.
Which rooms have loch views?
Loch View Rooms, Castle Signature View Rooms and Loch View Lodge Rooms.
Which are your Twin Rooms?
There are two Loch View Rooms and two Loch View Lodge Rooms which can be set up with twin beds. These rooms must be requested at the time of booking.
How long does it take to walk into town?
It’s 15 minutes across the dam.
Do you have a map of the town or walking maps?
Our Concierge can provide you with maps.
Which days are the restaurants open?
Brasserie is open 7 days a week, Sandemans is open Tuesday – Saturday.
What time is the Spa open?
The Spa is open seven days a week, from 8.00 am – 8.00 pm. Last Entry at 7.30 pm.
How many people does your function room accommodate?
Up to 150 people can be accommodated in our function room.
We are eloping. Do you do weddings for 2?
Yes – We do! Elope. Now.
Do you have a marquee?
No. We do however have a purpose-built Function Suite.
Can I have Fireworks?
Book Fonab Castle with exclusive use, sit back and watch the show.
Can I provide my own wine?
No. We don’t offer a corkage facility when we have such an extensive existing range of wines to choose from.
Can you recommend florists and photographers etc?
Yes. We have a local suppliers list of the best in the business.
How big are your guest tables?
They are 6ft rounds which seat up to 12 people.
Do you have an easel that we can display our table plan on?
Yes, we do. Display away.
Can we book the hotel exclusively?
Yes, you can. This’ll give you and your guests full privacy from 12 noon on the day of your wedding until 12 noon the next day.
Do you have a music system and microphones?
Yes, we do.
Can we book our own entertainment?
Yes, you can.
What can I do in Pitlochry town?
There’s lots to see and do.. Local distilleries are Edradour, Blair Atholl Malt (Bells) Dewars Aberfeldy. For shopping, we’d recommend Macnaughton and House of Bruar. Take a cycling trip or bike rental Escape route or indulge in some 4×4 driving at Butterstone.
What other nearby activities are there?
Other activities available are white water rafting, canyoning, canoeing, bungee jumping through Marcus Harvey.
Private car hire with a guide – Ronnie Owens – gives you a personalised tour of the area and further afield.
